We've been here for a while, but we're announcing we are officially on the Thunder bandwagon. How can you not be when they keep playing like this? After last night's game, we thought it only fitting to feature these excellent portraits of Kevin Durant shot by one of Tulsa's finest photogs, Jeremy Charles. Excellent work, Jeremy. Although we're not sure who OK'd the Sharpie font for the KD headline. Really?

There is a group of people in Tulsa who believe that our city has the potential to be something great. Our rich history of film, music, and oilman ingenuity has laid the groundwork, and now Tulsa is ripe to become who she was meant to be. Many believe that her future is in Hollywood, or rather that Hollywood's future is here. A new advisory board has been created to help Tulsa become more attractive to filmmakers and musicians. The board includes the following individuals:

Brian Paschal, executive director of Tulsa Young Professionals
Jim Wacker, production manager at Steelehouse Productions
    Jim Stovall, CEO, TV Network
Johnny Graham, VP of broadcast production for Brothers & Co.
Jason McInthos, Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame
Scott Hutchinson, songwriter/producer, My Grace Music Publishing
Melanie Sweeney, Tulsa International Film Festival/filmmaker
Brian Horton, President of Horton Records/The New Tulsa Sound
Jody Parker, CEO of Anchor Stone

We're excited that leaders in Tulsa are realizing her potential and pushing for more support of the arts. We just hope they don't forget about supporting the artists, musicians, filmmakers who are already here and working.
